I have both known and worked with Gordon for over five years. During this time he has built a custom home for us, and is currently in the process of remodeling a house we recently purchased. Ours has been a unique situation because we've had to be away in California while the house is going up. Gordon and Kim have been very nice to work with and we have appreciated all the effort they've made to keep us informed by phone, email and with all the email photos. They are trustworthy and honest people. After having lived in England for five years we presented Gordon with the challenge of building an English, Tudor-style home in rustic Central Oregon! Want to build a home? It sounds easy. When we decided to build a home we quickly realized we had a few ideas but there was a great deal to just the floor plan, which was just the beginning. Gordon took our few ideas and kept showing us drawings until we saw what we wanted. We had seen a small run down house next door to us turned into a beautiful home by Gordon and Kim Clowers. We saw the special care and work that they did on their own home and, knowing them personally, we trusted that the same care would be given to our home. Our home is 2,500 square feet and we love it! We highly recommend Clowers Carpentry. They meet their clients on a personal level with honesty and integrity. We have recommended them to friends and, after seeing our home, our friends are having a Clowers-built home as well.
